The Malting Course
The Malting Course is a chance for you to learn more about your chief ingredient, malt. Pauls Malt has run the course from over 30 years with more than 700 brewers and distillers attending from all around the world. The course aims to provide you with a better understanding of the malting process and how it affects your product. The course is designed to give you knowledge and practical insights into the malting process.

Lectures form the backbone of the week supplemented by practical sessions and demonstrations in the laboratory. Outside the classroom you visit maltings, the NIAB barley varietal evaluation centre and a traditional British ale brewery. After a hard days work there is entertainment to enable you to network with other brewers from around the world.
