Colleagues at Greencore’s Prepared Meals site in Consett were contacted by a local radio station to support their ‘Cash for Kids’ appeal, whereby they were aiming to provide Christmas presents for many of the underprivileged, disabled children in the region, who would otherwise would have woken up to nothing on Christmas morning.
Thanks to the generosity of the colleagues at the site, Greencore Prepared Meals donated in excess of 100 gifts, and made a £500 cash donation to the appeal.
