Last Wednesday was #InternationalMotherLanguageDay, which we celebrated across our sites with quizzes, activities and colleagues sharing videos of them speaking different languages. Here are some photos and videos from our site in Northampton.

We are honoured to be part of Causeway Charity and Bright Future alongside Co-op, Morrisons, Asda and Pilgrim's UK. The Bright Future initiative aims to provide modern slavery survivors with a pathway back to employment – but it gives participants so much more.

Reading Aisha's journey is a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we come together. Her resilience and determination shine through as she rebuilds her life, finding not just a job but a sense of community.

At Greencore, we are proud to be part of this transformative programme, offering survivors like Aisha the opportunity for employment and a fresh start. It's not just about filling roles; it's about empowering individuals, restoring dignity and providing a pathway to a brighter future.

Many thanks to Megan Tatum at The Grocer for taking the time to write this important story.

As a large cabbage user, our site in Spalding celebrated National Cabbage Day last week with several events, including games such as 'guess the weight of the cabbage' and 'name the cabbage,’ along with a cabbage related hamper, crossword, and cabbage related recipes.

There was also a visit from a cabbage supplier who brought in baby cabbage plants for everyone to have a go at 'growing your own.'

This week, we are marking Quality Awareness Week across our sites. There are a range of activities scheduled to help raise awareness of this important topic with our colleagues.

In this short video, Head of Technical, Michelle Briggs tells our CEO, Dalton Philips why this is such a key issue.

This is just a short excerpt of a longer colleague video, which also features our Technical and Sustainability Director, Clare Binnington.
