The Group Executive comprises of the Group’s senior executives.
The Group Executive has responsibility for the development of our overall purpose, vision and strategy as well as holding collective accountability for overall business performance and the development and deployment of functional excellence.
This Group comprising of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief People Officer, Chief Transformation Officer and General Counsel & Company Secretary.
Dalton Philips
Chief Executive Officer
Appointed as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 26 September 2022.
Dalton has a strong track record of leading dynamic consumer-related businesses and brings extensive knowledge of the grocery and retail industry, having served as chief executive officer of WM Morrisons, a FTSE 100 company and the UK’s fourth largest supermarket chain, for five years. Prior to joining Greencore, Dalton served as chief executive officer of daa plc, the global airports and travel retail group. He also previously held senior roles with the George Weston Group, including as chief operating officer of Loblaw Companies Limited, the leading Canadian grocery retailer, and chief executive officer of Brown Thomas Group, the Irish luxury goods retailer. Dalton also served as a senior advisor to the Boston Consulting Group.
Dalton’s broad range of strategic, commercial, operational and customer skills, together with his deep understanding of the grocery and retail industry, enable him build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Dalton currently serves as a non-executive director of Starship Technologies, Wilko Hardware Stores Limited and IBEC Limited.

Jonathan Solesbury
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer with effect from 15 June 2023.
Jonathan has extensive experience in senior finance roles in both the food and beverage industries, including three years as Group Chief Financial Officer with C&C Group plc and 22 years with SABMiller plc.

Guy Dullage
Chief People Officer
Guy is Chief People Officer and is responsible for human resources across the Group. Prior to this Guy served as HR Director for the Prepared Meals division.
Prior to this he held a variety of senior HR roles in the UK and Europe, with the majority of his experience over this time within the manufacturing sector. Guy has also held a number of directorships, board and pension trustee roles during his career.

Lee Finney
Chief Operating Officer
Lee joined Greencore in October 2022 as Chief Operating Officer. He has executive accountability for technology, sustainability, and the end-to-end supply chain. He has extensive experience in transforming the operational performance of global businesses, having held Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Supply Officer roles in the UK, Europe, North America and Australasia.
Lee has an MBA, was awarded the Advanced Management Program, and has completed Executive programs at MIT and Stanford, USA.

Damien Moynagh
General Counsel & Group Company Secretary
Damien joined Greencore from UDG Healthcare plc and leads our Legal and Company Secretariat functions. He has over 20 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer and senior executive across Europe, the United States and Asia. In his most recent role as general counsel and company secretary of UDG Healthcare plc, Damien was responsible for the group’s legal and corporate secretarial functions and also its risk, sustainability, quality and compliance functions. Prior to this, Damien was chief operating officer and general counsel at Sysnet Global Solutions, a fast-growing global technology business.
Damien trained as a lawyer with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London. He has also completed executive education programs most recently at Cambridge University and Columbia University.

Andy Parton
Chief Commercial Officer
Andy is Chief Commercial Officer with responsibility for commercial, marketing and insight, end-to-end value chain optimisation, new product development, purchasing, coordination across our business units and Greencore’s Direct to Store and distribution operations.
Prior to this Andy was Business Unit Director of our Food to Go business unit. Andy joined Greencore in 2014, having previously served as Buying Director at Aldi Stores.

Nigel Smith
Chief Transformation Officer
Nigel is Chief Transformation Officer, and has been leading the work on our ‘better Greencore’ transformation programme since the beginning of this year. He joined Greencore in 2017, and has held a variety of roles supporting the strategic development of the Group, most recently as Chief Strategy Officer.
Prior to joining Greencore, Nigel worked as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company, and in multiple public policy positions within European Union institutions.
