Each year colleagues from Greencore volunteer to support ‘Feeding Britain’s Future‘, which is an IGD led cross-industry initiative to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in the workplace and bring to life the wide range of food and grocery careers.

Earlier this week, three colleagues from our site in Atherstone attended The Queen Elizabeth Academy, where they spent the morning with 30 year 9 children to help educate and engage with the next generation of talent.   They spoke about employability skills and helped students better understand the wide variety of career paths available and how studying can lead to in our industry.

The workshop not only had positive on the students, but also the volunteers came away feeling really positive about the experience.

Greencore is a long-standing supporter of Feeding Britain’s Future and has through the years supported many students throughout the country through this initiative.
