Greencore has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Corporate Social Responsibility category at The Logistics Awards 2018.
As part of Greencore’s entry the following points were submitted:
- Greencore has doubled the size of the fleet in the last 3 years
- Greencore has delivered the most efficient logistic solution, maintaining improved safety for our colleagues, customers and public with new technology and Euro 6 vehicles
- The carbon footprint of our vehicles has been significantly reduced with lighter vehicles and aerodynamics improved
- Carriage sizes increased therefore vehicles removed from fleet, hence reducing emissions and fuel
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London in September.
