Today, 10 September, is World Suicide Prevention Day.

We may or may not have been affected by suicide, but every year it is responsible for over 800,000 deaths globally and is amongst the top 20 leading causes of death.

Working together with Champion Health, we’ve put together this factsheet to support you and your families. Take time to check in with friends, family members and colleagues, ask if they are okay and really give time to listen to their response.

If you are struggling, you are not alone. Asking for help is the first step. You can reach out to our peer-to-peer support service, Talk2Us and talk confidentially about how you are feeling on 01246 385290 or contact our charity partner, GroceryAid on 08088 021 122 who have trained counsellors on hand 24/7.

It’s not weak to speak up! Reach out today.
