The Board of Greencore Group plc (“Greencore”, or the “Group”) today announces that Emma Hynes has informed the Board of her intention to step down from her role as Director and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Greencore.

After three years in her current role with Greencore, Emma will step down from her role as Director following the release of the Group’s half-year results in May and will then remain with Greencore for a transition period to help ensure a smooth succession process.

Emma joined Greencore as CFO in April 2020 having previously served in a variety of finance leadership roles in Greencore over 11 years, including as Group Finance Director.

Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), Dalton Philips, commented: “In her many years at Greencore, Emma has made an enormous contribution to the evolution of the Group, particularly in her current role as Chief Financial Officer and her leadership over this time has been invaluable.

On a personal note, I would like to thank Emma for her counsel and support since my appointment as CEO. On behalf of everyone at Greencore, we wish her all the very best for the future.”

The Board has commenced a search process for a new CFO and further related announcements will be made in due course.
