Greencore came out on top in this year’s ‘Best of Own-Label’ Awards, organised by trade publication, The Grocer.
The award was in recognition of the work done in sourcing more sustainable sushi packaging and as a result saving 19 tonnes of plastic from landfill.
The project, which was in collaboration with the Co-op, was recognised by the judges as ‘testament to the power of collaboration’ between suppliers and retailers.
