This week is summer solstice; chosen as a focus event in our 2022 inclusion calendar by our colleagues across the business. Summer solstice is also known as midsummer when the sun reaches its highest position in the sky and is the day with the longest period of daylight.
Since prehistory, summer solstice has been a significant time of year for many cultures, and is marked by holidays, festivals and rituals around the world.
