Greencore Crosby held a World Cup themed football tournament at a local venue earlier this year.

A fantastic turnout of over 100 of the site workforce ensured that the event was a great time for all.

Everybody had a chance to ‘let their hair down,’ while raising some funds for a local charity SWACA (Sefton Woman’s and Children’s Aid).

The site chose this charity as it is something that touches everybody’s heart. SWACA provides emotional and practical support to women and children/young people, living in Sefton, effected by domestic abuse.

Through donations and a raffle the site raised £386 and presented the cheque to the Chief Executive, Neil Frackleton, shortly afterwards.
