    An Assessment Centre for this programme is scheduled for Thursday 28th January 2027 at the Spalding site.

    Salary:

    £26,850.00 plus £3,600 London Weighting where applicable.

    Duration:

    3 years, commencing 1st September 2027. Site TBC — could be London, Lincolnshire, Bo’ness (Scotland), South-West, or Northampton. Your first-year placement will be site-based.

    This Technical Graduate Programme provides the opportunity to gain experience in food safety processes and systems, risk management, audit capability and teamwork — fundamental to being a successful Technical Manager. Your first-year placement will be based at a site, understanding the role of operations in a factory and joining the QA team to help deliver safe, legal and great-quality fresh food. The programme covers stakeholder collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers, upholding rigorous customer and industry standards, and driving governance across the organisation. Please note that food technology roles will require you to spend a high proportion of your day within a factory environment.

    You will have a dedicated Programme Champion as a key contact, a mentor to guide your development, and a line manager who conducts regular performance reviews. You’ll join a cohort of up to 20 other graduates and connect with a broad network of alumni, supported throughout by on-the-job training.   • About you

    • Achieved or expected to achieve at least a 2:2 honours degree in Food Science, a science-based subject, or a food-related discipline.

    • At least three months of relevant work experience.

    • Right to work in the UK for a minimum of 3 years from September 2027.

    • Exceptional organisational skills, an inquisitive mindset and a drive to challenge norms, upholding the highest standards in food safety.

    • A clear commitment to advancing your career in the food industry.

    • Willingness to complete three 12-month placements at different locations across the UK (your preferences will be considered).

    • Alignment with Greencore’s values and a strong fit for the organisation.

    • A full UK driver’s licence and own transport is preferred.
