  An Assessment Centre for this placement programme is scheduled for Friday 19th February 2027 at the Newark site.

  Salary:

  £26,850.00 plus £3,600 London Weighting where applicable.

  Duration:

  12-month fixed-term contract, commencing end of June 2027. Site TBC.

  Manufacturing Operations is the core of the business, responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative products to customers on a massive scale. This placement gives you exposure to food manufacturing across several sectors, along with a wide range of skills and knowledge of how the factories operate and how to manage and develop people.

  You will work with an experienced line manager who conducts regular performance reviews and supports you through a skills checklist to ensure your development. Assuming everything progresses as planned, Greencore will help you identify the right career opportunities upon completing your degree — including direct entry roles or a place on the Graduate Programme. • About you

  • Undergraduate currently studying towards a degree in any discipline (must be mid-degree, not mid-masters).

  • Experience working as part of a team.

  • Existing right to work in the UK (unable to sponsor visas for this placement).

  • A clear motivation to learn more about the food industry, and a desire to get into the detail of how the factories run.

  • A curiosity to explore, learn and show initiative.
