As part of the site’s 2017 ‘Dragons Den’ style community initiative colleagues at our Prepared Meals facility in Consett nominated a local Women’s Aid refuge. Two members of the team presented their reasons why the site should support this charity and once approved, these two colleagues organised a clothes, toys and toiletries collection.
The site gave generously and 50 bags of women and children’s clothes plus 17 boxes of toiletries were donated. In addition a raffle was organised, with the proceeds going to the purchase of toys for the refuge.
