Greencore USA’s off office in Danvers, Massachusetts partnered with Beverly Bootstraps this holiday season to provide gifts to children in need. This North Shore social service agency supports families by way of a food pantry, thrift store and various other programs throughout the year.

A giving tree was placed in the Danvers office lobby and decorated with holiday tags. Employees chose a labelled gift tag and purchased the listed items for a child.

Here are some of the uplifting stories from the event.  John McAndrews went to over eight stores to find a cheerleading outfit for a 6 year old girl. Dominic Gallagher travelled over three hours to buy two brothers Real Madrid shirts. Linda Pride hand made hats and gloves for two boys. At the end of the event, Ryan McFall voluntarily purchased all remaining gifts on the list.

Beverly Bootstraps was extremely grateful for the eight bags of gifts Danvers employees dropped off last week. Sixteen children will now receive over seventy gifts thanks to the generosity of the Danvers office.
