Last Saturday, 3 August, one of our HR colleagues, Maleen Godoy, from Northampton took the bold and brave step of shaving off all her hair to raise money for a local charity very close to her heart.

Maleen said: “The reason I did this was in memory of my mother Rena, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2016. Her birthday would have been on 3 August, so was the ideal date to do something to remember her but also support all those who are suffering with this  horrible disease.”

Maleen decided to raise donations and awareness for The Lewis Foundation – a charity that supports individuals who are going through chemotherapy treatment. A number of colleagues went along to the Elgar Centre in Upton, Northampton to watch the shave take place.

Maleen said: “Thank you so very much to all that have supported me in my journey so far if you could still like to sponsor me you can do so on my just giving page.”

Well done Maleen – we think you look great!
