Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness week 2021, hosted by the Mental Health Foundation.

This is one of the events members of our inclusion & diversity listening groups chose for us to recognise. The week-long annual event is an opportunity for people to talk about all aspects of mental health.

This year’s theme is Nature; in the year of a pandemic, nature has been one of the most popular ways of helping us look after our own mental health during a challenging time. It’s important we all continue to get out in nature – whether that’s your garden, a local park, lakes and woodlands – spend time away from the day to day stresses and find calm in your surroundings.

This week, we will be sharing more information on this topic, starting with our top 10 tips on supporting your own mental health, below. We’d love to hear what you do to support your own mental health – send us your hints and tips to colleague.communications@greencore.com and we’ll share these at the end of the week.

Let’s all play our part in looking after ourselves and each other.
