Leading convenience food manufacturer, Greencore, is this year celebrating 200 colleagues across its business on completing its bespoke professional development programme ‘Line Coordinator Framework’.

Earlier this month, colleagues based at the company’s sandwich manufacturing site in Manton Wood celebrated their graduation.

Commenting on the Line Coordinator Framework and the graduates, Ed Rowlands, General Manager at Greencore said:

“I am incredibly proud of the colleagues that have completed our Line Coordinator Framework programme. Everyone has had to work extremely hard and in challenging circumstances, but we hope that this will enable our people to become even better leaders in our business, with the opportunity to further progress their careers with us.”

Rob Sanderson, Learning and Development Coordinator who supported with the coordination of the programme at Greencore said:

“We want to make Greencore a great place to work and to create a great experience for all our colleagues. We feel strongly about supporting our people in growing as professionals – this is part of our ‘Grow with Greencore’ ethos.

“I get a real kick out of seeing people grow, so for me it was a such a pleasure to be able to celebrate together with our colleagues.”

The 12-month professional development programme is designed to give Greencore colleagues the opportunity to learn new skills in order to develop their careers with the company. Line Coordinator Framework differentiates itself from other professional development programs in that it is grounded in the work that our colleagues do each day and has a creative, more practical hands-on approach to learning.
