Dordon Business to Open Its Doors as it Welcomes Potential New Colleagues
Leading convenience food manufacturer Greencore is looking to hire up to 70 new colleagues at its state-of-the-art distribution centre in Dordon, Tamworth.
The site, which opened in February last year, already employs 300 warehouse workers and delivery drivers and is looking for additional warehouse operatives to help meet demand as lockdown eases and demand increases. It is holding a recruitment day and job interviews for potential candidates on Saturday 22 May.
Commenting on this expansion, Eamonn Boland, Depot Manager at Greencore Tamworth says; “We distribute chilled and frozen food products for convenience stores, travel retailers and the foodservice sector, so as the country moves out of lockdown we are seeing an increase in demand for our products, which is of course a good thing. This gives us a great opportunity to create up to 70 new warehouse roles at the site and we are looking forward to welcoming potential candidates to our recruitment day from 9am on 22 May.”
