A group of colleagues from Greencore’s manufacturing site in Spalding have raised nearly £2,200 for Cancer Research UK, following their participation in the Pretty Muddy 5K Race for Life. The team raised the money through a separate warm-up event and through donations for the five kilometer Pretty Muddy obstacle event.

The fundraising warm-up event involved the team setting up a rowing machine at the site in Spalding and then rowing 166,000 metres between them over the course of two days. Even the site leadership team, including the General Manager, Simon Titchner participated and helped to raise more than £300 for the warm-up event alone.

Well done to everyone on a tremendous effort!
