The team at Consett wore their football shirts with pride today to honour local boy Bradley Lowery who tragically died last week, aged 6, from childhood cancer neuroblastoma.

Bradley, a well-known Sunderland fan, was an England mascot earlier this year. Putting local rivalries aside, the team at Consett paid for the privilege of wearing their teams’ colours (or borrowing them in some cases). The site’s collection will contribute to the Bradley Lowery Foundation which supports other children with life threatening illnesses.
