Today marks the start of our month-long Pride celebrations.
Chosen by colleagues to be recognised as a focus event for the second year in a row, we will explore gender in more detail, share our colleagues’ own unique ways of celebrating and launch our second podcast.
Last month, we launched our Pride competition, where we asked our colleagues to create a design that brings their vision of Pride to life. We had some fantastic entries but there could only be one winner. A huge congratulations to Jessica Bacon, Shopper Marketing Manager, who hand drew our winning design, which you can see below. This will feature on our intranet, social media channels, site noticeboards and screens throughout the month.
Jessica said: “It’s important to recognise Pride so everyone feels included and is free to be themselves no matter how they identify or what their sexuality is.” Well done, Jessica!
