Last Sunday, Greencore Spalding faced off against Greencore Wisbech at Holbeach United Academy in wild weather conditions 🌧️💨.
Organised by Giuseppe ‘George’ Parla and Ashley Gower, the match brought together over 30 players and a lively crowd, kicking off what could be a thrilling series of local games!
Wisbech came out on top with an 8–0 win, but the real victory was the team spirit and community engagement. Great energy, great turnout — and Spalding are already eyeing their comeback! 💪⚽

Across all our sites, colleagues came together to raise awareness of severe allergies and support the incredible work of Anaphylaxis UK. From vibrant ‘Wear it Bright’ days to creative fancy dress, fun quizzes engaging competitions and even sponsored football matches, the energy and commitment were inspiring!
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised and incredible c.£19,000 for Anaphylaxis UK — including through the donation of surplus clothing, which helps generate funds for the charity. 💛
Together, we’re helping to make a difference for those living with serious allergies.
