  • Overview

    An Assessment Centre for this programme is scheduled for Wednesday 10th February 2027 at an external London venue.

    Salary:

    £31,000 + £1,000 welcome bonus once settled in the business. An additional uplift is also provided for employees based at a London site.

    Duration:

    3 years, commencing 1st September 2027. Site TBC — could be London or Lincolnshire.

Our three-year HR Graduate Programme offers comprehensive experience across both factory and central HR functions, providing you with a well-rounded understanding of the people agenda and preparing you for future senior HR roles

    We expect your first six months to be spent within our People Services team, where you will develop a strong foundation in HR processes and practices. You will then move into operational learning, building your experience and preparing you for your second year in Operational HR which will be based at one of our manufacturing sites across the UK

    In your third year, you will gain valuable experience within our Central People and Rewards teams, broadening your understanding of the wider people strategy and developing your expertise across key areas of HR.

    Throughout the programme, you will be given opportunities to take on activities and projects designed to stretch your knowledge, challenge your thinking and support your continued development.

    You will have a dedicated Programme Champion as a key contact, a mentor to guide your development, and a line manager who conducts regular performance reviews. You’ll join a cohort of up to 20 other graduates and connect with a broad network of alumni, supported throughout by on-the-job training.   • About you

    • Degree: Achieved or expected to achieve at least a 2:2+ honours degree in any discipline but with a preference towards Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management/Administration
    • Experience: At least three months of relevant work experience or demonstrated experience as working as part of a team.
    • Work Eligibility: Right to work in the UK for a minimum of 3 years from
      September 2025
    • Motivation: A clear motivation to deepen knowledge of the food industry, with a desire to learn how Human Resources supports business success.
    • Flexibility: Willingness to complete three 12-month placements at different locations across the UK (we will consider your preferences).
    • Cultural Fit: Alignment with Greencore’s values and a strong fit for our organization.
    • An ability to apply practical ideas and demonstrate your adaptability
    • A curiosity to explore, learn and show initiative with an ability to demonstrate good attention to detail
