Our colleague Catalyst Members work with us to plan and deliver an annual calendar of Inclusion initiatives, celebrating and recognising the events that matter to our colleagues. These activities are included in our combined Greencore activity calendar.
We are proud to share that we have been working alongside five other leading manufacturers and IGD to develop the Food Supply Chain Sustainability Framework, which we see as a blueprint for the future. Bakkavor, The Billington Group, The Compleat Food Group, Premier Foods and Samworth Brothers.
The Framework gives a clear view on how to progress along a maturity curve for seven sustainability priorities. It creates a consistent ask of suppliers to help them plan resources and build strategies with confidence, knowing that the actions taken are consistently valued by their manufacturer customers and aligned to the industry goals we are all working towards.

It’s a busy and meaningful time at the Atherstone site, where the team has transformed the space with a striking display of poppies across the ceiling — a powerful tribute to the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces and civilians during times of war.
To honour the days of remembrance, the site hosted a cake sale where each purchase came with a raffle ticket for the chance to win some fabulous poppy-themed prizes. All funds raised will be donated to the Royal British Legion, supporting veterans and their families. 🎂🎟️
The Atherstone team will also be observing a two-minute silence on Remembrance Sunday and again on Tuesday 11th, standing together in reflection and respect.
