✨ Two of our Heathrow colleagues joined the Waitrose & Partners Helping Hands 2025 programme, volunteering at Waitrose South Harrow during the busy Christmas period.

Shilpi Bahl, Senior Process Development Technologist shared how rewarding it was to support stock management and John Lewis click & collect, while proudly spotting our Greencore toasties enjoyed by customers in the café.

Aswathy SudevanDev, Process Development Technologist described the day as an invaluable chance to step into the heart of retail operations, gaining real-world insights into how our products perform in-store and appreciating the dedication of the Waitrose team.

👏 A huge thank you to Waitrose South Harrow for welcoming our colleagues and giving them this fantastic opportunity to learn, support, and celebrate seeing Greencore products on shelves during the festive season!

Our Atherstone team absolutely outdid themselves this year. The site operations team pulled off a Christmas dinner spectacular - building a full marquee outside the factory and serving up festive meals for everyone on site. No small feat, and they made it look effortless.

The night’s entertainment? Karaoke, of course. And while there were many… memorable performances, nothing topped the leadership team’s enthusiastic rendition of Winter Wonderland. Bing Crosby would’ve raised an eyebrow.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the event happen.

This grant provides financial support to help with essential costs such as food, energy, and other everyday expenses, helping to ease some of the strain during this time.
